Recurrence of Ventral Abdominal Hernia with Additional Surgical Repair
This full color stock medical exhibit depicts the recurrence of ventral hernia following multiple attempts at surgical repair. A series of images illustrate the patient's pre-operative condition to highlight the large ventral hernia, the incision into the anterior abdominal wall, the reduction of the hernia and the insertion of a large segment of composix mesh in an attempt to reconstruct the anterior abdominal wall.
