Duodenal Ulcer
This medical exhibit depicts the anatomy of the duodenal region of the stomach with a non perforating (mucosal) ulcer from an anterior (front) cut away view. It consists of an orientation image of an anterior (front) male silhouette showing the location of the digestive tract and duodenum with a detailed enlargement of a duodenal ulcer just distal to the pyloric sphincter muscle (pyloris) of the stomach. A single label identifies the duodenal ulcer.
