Cervical Disc Injuries with Double Level Anterior Discectomy and Fusion
Cervical Disc Injuries with Double Level Anterior Discectomy and Fusion
This stock medical exhibit begins with one sagittal (side cut-away) view of the cervical spine illustrating the pre-operative condition. This image clearly reveals the disc herniations at C5-6 and C6-7. Also included are four of the key steps of the double level anterior discectomy and fusion procedure. The steps include the creation of the transverse incision made into the neck, the creation of a hole in the C5-6 and C6-7 vertebral bodies, the removal of herniated disc material and the insertion of BAK fusion cages.
